Now I can always go back and pull out medium levels and highlights. Even when I'm pretty careful it comes out splotchy and just looks dirty. that figure is going to look pretty damn grimy when I'm done. when I want some black shading and use some Nuln Oil. I find that the Citadel washes are pretty intense though. especially for figures that I want to do quick and don't want to spend ages doing layers of shading and highlighting.
